Recently, the first National‑IV scrap grab machine of Yantai Sadivo Heavy Industry has officially rolled off the production line for delivery. Boasting upgraded emission standards, the equipment addresses environmental‑protection challenges in scrap‑steel yards and brings a compliant, durable new solution for the scrap‑recycling industry.

Environmental Compliance: Independent Urea Tank + DOC/DPF/SCR Multi‑Stage Purification
The machine is factory‑fitted with a large‑capacity independent urea tank featuring excellent sealing, corrosion resistance and ageing resistance. It supports long‑hour continuous operation and reduces urea refilling frequency. Equipped with a complete DOC, DPF and SCR exhaust after‑treatment system, it filters particulate matter and harmful exhaust gas through precise urea injection, cutting construction‑related pollution at source and fully complying with China’s National‑IV emission standards for non‑road mobile machinery.

Power Upgrade: Cummins B6.7 National‑IV Engine
It is powered by the Cummins B6.7CS4‑244C National‑IV engine with a rated power of 180 kW (244 HP). The 6.7‑litre large‑displacement unit delivers high torque at low‑rpm with abundant power reserve and strong explosive performance, well‑suited to long‑term heavy‑duty working conditions of scrap grab operations.

Core Hydraulic System: Kawasaki Main Pump, Imported Control Valve and Swing Motor
The hydraulic system adopts a Korean Kawasaki main pump for stable and powerful power output, together with a water‑oil separator to remove moisture from fuel. US‑made Donaldson filters are installed throughout the machine to block dust and impurities, lower component wear and extend maintenance intervals.

Fitted with Korean HYM multi‑way control valve, it offers precise pressure regulation and fast response with little risk of jamming or wear under high‑frequency operation. The Korean Mottrol MBEC150B swing motor outputs high torque with smooth swing and braking performance, effectively preventing material throwing and body shaking. It resists overheating and power fading during continuous work, further improving machine stability and service life.

Operator‑Friendly: Elevatable Exclusive Cabin
The electrically elevatable cabin can rise up to 2.5 metres with smooth, jerk‑free movement. Panoramic toughened glass ensures a broad field of view. A mechanical suspension seat allows fore‑aft adjustment and backrest angle tuning, paired with an integrated LCD joystick for easy operation. The cabin features dust‑proof, noise‑reduced sealing and multi‑layer safety protection. Stable lifting performance enables adaptation to diverse complex working scenarios.

Reinforced Boom & Stick: Manganese‑Steel Construction, Robotic Groove Welding, 12‑metre Total Reach
Boom and stick are built of high‑grade manganese steel with a total working reach of 12 metres. Robotic groove welding guarantees solid welds for superior impact resistance and fatigue endurance. The long working radius minimises frequent repositioning during long‑distance loading and stockpiling, and resists deformation and cracking under heavy‑duty loads.

High‑Efficiency Lotus Grab: 5‑Jaw Design for Firm Gripping with 360° Rotation
The 5‑jaw lotus grab delivers strong wrapping performance for reliable holding of shredded scrap steel and mixed waste with minimal material spillage. Constructed from extra‑thick wear‑resistant steel plate and equipped with cylinder guards, the grab provides 360‑degree hydraulic rotation for flexible, efficient loading‑unloading, ideal for complex scrap‑yard grabbing tasks.

Heavy‑Duty Reinforced Chassis: Heavy‑Duty Build with Hangang Track Shoes
The chassis is integrally thickened and reinforced with dual anti‑corrosion and wear‑resistant surface treatment. Twelve track rollers evenly distribute loads for stable travel. Original Hangang steel track shoes measure 60 cm in width and 10 mm in thickness, offering large ground contact area to avoid sinking on gravel‑covered or muddy ground. Outstanding wear and impact resistance support prolonged heavy‑duty travel.

Sadivo Heavy Industry specialises in R&D and manufacturing of scrap grab machines and supports customised configurations for different working conditions. The roll‑out of this first National‑IV scrap grab machine delivers solid equipment support for environmentally‑friendly and safe production in scrap‑steel yards.
