Recently, Yantai SADIVO Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. completed the loading and batch delivery of a new fleet of SD230LC medium crawler excavators. These units will be shipped to major construction markets worldwide one after another, supporting the efficient delivery of infrastructure projects across regions.
As a benchmark 20-tonne model for medium-duty working conditions, the SD230LC is applicable to a wide range of construction scenarios including earthmoving infrastructure, municipal renovation, road construction, small and medium-sized mines, river regulation and site leveling.
Robust Core Configuration for Stable Performance Across All Working Conditions
In terms of power, the excavator is equipped with a Cummins 6BTA5.9 6-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 5.9L and a rated power of 133kW. It delivers outstanding heavy-load capacity and complies with international environmental emission standards. Fitted with an optimized fuel injection system, the machine achieves lower fuel consumption and delivers superior long-term operational cost efficiency.
The hydraulic system adopts Kawasaki main pumps paired with South Korean imported control valves, alongside a standard South Korean imported slewing motor. It features rapid response, precise control and smooth compound movements, meeting operational requirements for fine grading, rapid excavation and heavy-load material handling.
The machine boasts an operating weight of 22,050kg and comes standard with a 1.2m³ wear-resistant bucket. Its boom and arm are manufactured from manganese steel via robotic groove welding, fitted with reinforced pin bushings and high-flow hydraulic cylinders. The undercarriage is equipped with 11 groups of thickened track rollers, paired with 800mm-wide, 10mm-thick wear-resistant track shoes. Featuring a robust structure and superior trafficability, it reliably adapts to harsh complex terrain such as muddy ground, gravel roads and rugged slopes.
